German Major

A major in German serves as a foundation for professional training in such subjects as business, law, politics, and medicine, as well as the media and communication industry.

The Certificate in German Studies offers students a significant level of language and cultural competence and prepares students for international careers.

In each of our German language classes, students build language proficiency in the four basic skills areas—speaking, writing, reading, and listening – by acquiring the linguistic tools to communicate in a foreign language.
